Hello guys! I want to upgrade my Macbook Pro. Would you recommend a Macbook Pro (and if so which configuration), or just getting an iPad instead? I don't have a specific budget yet but I'd like it to be around 2500 max, but I can probably push it a little bit for something better.Īlternatively, I was also thinking of getting an iPad Pro for taking notes in class and doing light computer work and continuing to use my Surface or getting a cheaper laptop for other heavier work. I will also be using the computer for music production (in Ableton), and I would also like to play some games well on it (this part isn't completely necessary). I am minoring in Computer Science, so I'll need something that can handle programming. I'm still gonna be in college for around 1-2 more years, so for now I'll be mainly using it for school work, but I want a device that will last me as long as possible, and well after college. Hey guys, I'm considering getting a Macbook Pro after having problems with my Surface Pro 3, but I'm not sure which configuration to get.
